Always Fun

Updated: Jan 15, 2023

This was a fun project for us to complete as it took a step outside of our daily painting duties. Along with the redecoration of the whole house, we also had 2 large parquet floors to renovate. Due to a monumental leak, we had to remove all water damaged tiles, remove bitumen from all affected areas (which is not a fun job) clean and remove the ‘tongue & grooves’ from each tile to then relay back on the floor. We then undertook the process of stripping the floor back to its original look. Starting out at 36grit working our way up to a final finish of 120grit. The floor was then primed and finished with 3 coats of ultra matt lacquer. This project wasn’t without its complications on the way but by the end the finish was superb
